David De Gea lauded the support of the fans and the determination shown by his teammates in Manchester United’s 1-0 Premier League win over West Ham at Old Trafford.
Substitute Marcus Rashford was on hand to tap in Edinson Cavani’s dangerous cross at the back post in the final minute of stoppage time, sealing the three points for Ralf Rangnick’s side.

The Spaniard was quick to praise the crowd and felt that they helped get United over the line.
He added: “[The fans] keep pushing the team. They keep shouting and that gave us a bit more energy at the end of the game.
“They were great for the whole game, and they deserved the win.”
The important win saw the Reds keep our first Premier League clean sheet since the 1-0 away win at Norwich on 11 December.
De Gea was impressed by the resilience shown by the United backline, and their ability to keep one of the top-flight’s in-form teams quiet.
“Keeping a clean sheet was massive for us,” he said.
“We didn’t concede many chances today and we controlled the game very well.
“We controlled the game from the beginning, and I was feeling the game was there for us.”
